AIM •To investigate the prevalence, species composition, and zoonotic potential of canine hookworm infections in dogs from Tongatapu, Tonga OBJECTIVES • Determine the prevalence of canine hookworm infections in Tongatapu • Identify hookworm species using morphological and molecular diagnostics • Assess the presence of zoonotic hookworm species in the canine population across Tongatapu • Evaluate the potential implications for zoonotic transmission
