Abstract
Diversional and Recreational Therapy is a healthcare practice in Aotearoa New Zealand which uses recreation and activity-based interventions to enhance wellbeing. Diversional and Recreational Therapy is a goal-oriented practice with a strong holistic approach to care. This project highlights the need to expand these services to other healthcare and support settings to benefit New Zealanders.
