dc.description.abstractPrevious research has demonstrated that Senecio repangae subsp. repangae and subsp. pokohinuensis have independent evolutionary origins. Here, we therefore elevate subsp. pokohinuensis to species rank: Senecio pokohinuensis. Updated morphological descriptions for both species are also provided.en_NZ
