dc.description.abstract	Manukau Family Literacy Programmes (MFLP) The MFLP grew out of an initiative by the Literacy Taskforce of the City of Manukau Education Trust (COMET). The initial planning for the programmes was undertaken during 2002, culminating in two pilot sites starting operation in 2003 at Bairds Otara and Rowandale in Manurewa.
